9:45 p.m. - Overall Standings Update
As darkness and the night's chill descend on Georgia International Horse Park, the race action remains heated and animated. Four teams have completed 12 complete laps, and the Wakeracing's - The Crew, Less Two Duo Pro pair hold the lead. Less than two minutes behind - and closing fast - the 5 man Faster Mustache team are proving that facial hair doesn't slow you down.

Men's Sport team NSW Flyin' Frogs are hanging tough at 19 minutes back, with 5-man team ZerieUSA a further 10 minutes back.

18th May
10:45 a.m. - Overall Standings Update
Throughout the pleasantly cool May night, the reserves provided by extra teammates proved the difference. Stacked in the first ten spots overall are 5 Man or Men's Sport teams. Faster Mustache took the overall lead just before midnight last night, and maintained an impressive pace. Teams that moved up the standings include NSW Flyin' Frogs, ZerieUSA, Bump'n Uglies and Ingcognito Endurance, to round out the top five.

Eddie O'Dea clinched his overall Men's Solo victory about 35 minutes ago, with 21 laps completed. His wife Namrita is set to finish her winning Women's Solo ride shortly.

About your reporter
Hi! I'm Paul Skilbeck. A journalist and press guy on the international mountain bike racing scene since 1989, I am your humble reporter for the 2008 Suzuki 24 Hour Series opener. This is how I look in my reporting clothes, but if you roll over the image you'll see that I'm not merely a pencil squeezer.

Before we get started, please don't forget the support by Suzuki of 24-hour endurance racing when considering your next 4-wheeled purchase. Your support of sponsors is what keeps them supporting the sport!
