18th May 12:35 p.m. - Navy Seals Ride Ellsworth... to convincing Sport class win They came and they conquered. The affable Navy Seals forming the Navy Special Warfare Flyin' Frogs team traveled from Southern California for this race, after finishing third in a hotly-contested Sport class race at Vail Lake Mountain Resort in Round One. To cut costs, they arranged with Ellsworth to borrow demo bikes at Conyers. Great bikes combined with talented riders, and the result was not		. only a resounding victory in the Sport class, but with a concerted effort on Sunday morning, they reduced what had been a 30-minute defecit overnight to close to within 11 minutes to the Faster Mustache 5-Man team, which had dominated the race since hitting the front at 9:55 p.m. Remarkably, the Frogs put in laps of 40 and 41 minutes in the final four hours of racing. The NSW Flyin' Frogs disappear from the circuit now, until the Galactic Championships at Moab in October, where they will surface again to do battle with the best Sport class 24 hour teams in the world.
