2008 started with daunting weather forecasts calling for high winds, rain, and potentially snow. Though Saturday started out with high winds 20-30 mph, it calmed down by 4pm and turned out to be a nice clear night and a sunny Sunday.

10:30 a.m. : Moab Racers are Ready to get Down and Dirty
12 noon : And they're off!
12:20 p.m. : Start of the Race: Run Run Run!
12:30 p.m. : March of the Penguins start the Race
1:00 p.m. : First lap race order at The Butte between checkpoint 7 and 8
1:30 p.m. :A Gnarly Start
1:30 p.m. : First Lap in Men's Solo
2:00 p.m. : First 3 to complete first lap of the race
2:00 p.m. : Top 3 women to finish first lap, women's solo
2:40 p.m. : Top 5 in Men's Solo after 2 Laps
3:15 p.m. : Top five duo/pro teams maintaining their same positions for first two laps
3:50 p.m. : 5-Person Open Update

10:00 a.m. : Local racer self-supports Men's Solo-from his front door
11:30 a.m. : Navy Seals run on Infinit
11:36 a.m. : Suzuki Kid's Race Rocks!
11:40 a.m. : Women's Sport Update
noon : Photo-John, MTBR
12 noon : No more lap starts. Riders who started a lap shortly before 12 are permitted to finish

1:30 p.m. : Handcrafted Ellsworth Bike Demos
2:10 p.m. : Nite Rider with a Brite Future
