2001 24 Hours of Snowshoe

Twenty one inches of rain in the twenty days preceding the event made for some tough going but the racers slogged it out. The Cane Creek Coed Pro/Am team finally got the win they had been searching for while the Trek East Coast Factory team overtook Granny's Grandchildren on the final lap to take second place. The 2001 race also saw the beginning of a new era as perennial solo favorite John Stamstead was playing the part of spectator (with daughter in tow).
