Volunteers

Dear Awesome Volunteer,

Granny Gear Productions is really excited to present the 2006 season of 24 Hour Racing! This year's race season is going to be better than ever. The excellent volunteer staff that we've had in the past has been the cornerstone of our success at these 24 hour races. We hope you can join us again this year.

Here's a brief description of the various volunteer jobs available. Choose the one that best suits your talents or interests. Also, keep in mind that there are different shifts, so if you're a night owl, you may want to work the graveyard shift.

These are jobs that will be ongoing throughout the entire event. These jobs will require that you be very familiar with the AMTRI Rules and Regulations.

Registrars

Being a Registrar is a great way to get a front row seat! Registrars are assigned two to a table, so grab your pals and sign up today. Space is limited, so don't delay. This is one of most exciting and challenging jobs. These volunteers will log in racers who are starting their lap, and will log out racers who are finishing their lap. Registrars will also be responsible for recording the times of each rider's lap as well as supervising the RFID scanning process. This is a critical job and it comprises the largest number of volunteers.

Here's a little preview of the log sheet and an explanation on "How to be the Most Excellent Registrar." Print off these vital pieces of information and get a head start before you get to the race. Most of the answers to your questions are found in these documents, but if you have questions after you've read the information, give us a call. We'll be happy to help!
